There is no doubt that in today’s busy world, we are seeing more and more people experiencing a sense of overwhelm due to the demands of daily life where it feels that often we simply cannot keep up with the changes in technology and what is expected of us. Stress is one of the biggest barriers to people living a rich and fulfilled life and we need to address it – together. 

Understanding Stress - for you and your clients is a practical learning course where we explore the role that stress plays in our daily lives, including the potential causes, and provides practical strategies for managing stress for you to facilitate with your clients or implement in your own life.  


You might choose to undertake this program for one of three reasons:

  1. You work with clients to help improve their health and wellness, possibly wearing another professional hat yet recognise that stress-related obstacles often prevent your clients achieving their goals. You want to understand more about how to help them.
  2. You are working, or wish to work as a health and wellness coach and understand how important it is to have as much knowledge  as possible about the causes and effects of stress and gain as many tools as you can to support clients in their individual situation.
  3. You are very interested on a personal level to gain a better understanding of stress which is related to so many other lifestyle related illnesses. You are of some traditional strategies for managing stress but would like to learn more about some alternative approaches that emphasise the mind body connection.

Information within the course has been drawn from many sources and we have attempted to overlay a coaching approach that identifies “stress” as an inevitable and potentially positive part of life. We have included many tools and references for you to use and explore further beyond your studies that could actively assist in your work.

The first week’s lessons will be sent on the day of enrolment. Future weekly lessons will be sent every 7 days from that date for the following 6 weeks.
