
Wellness Coaching can be delivered in a group format and be highly effective and motivating because of the unique dynamics and energy that are created. A 6-12 week program called “Coach yourself to Wellness” is a time efficient way of delivering health strategies to many. This program builds on the workshop that is described in a prior page.
The program uses colourful and readable materials and provides a text and workbook that will help participants record their goals and their progress. Creating a vision of where you would like to be is the first step. Examining barriers and coming up with strategies is the next. Identifying individual strengths and determining what behaviours are important and immediate to change is essential.
A plan is then developed and weekly accountability and support forms part of the structure. The delivery method can be varied to fit the group's needs.
