About me:

I have worked in the fitness industry for well over a decade and in that time have witnessed (and personally experienced) hundreds of people trying to achieve the illustrious "ideal" body and optimal health whilst trying to maintain a perfect life balance. I love to work with women who are keen to achieve health and fitness related goals, but want jump off the guilt ridden rollercoaster that often goes hand in hand with getting fitter and healthier. My approach to improving your wellbeing doesn't revolve around restrictions or rules.. it's free from guilt and all about learning what works for you!! .

Work with me:

  • 1:1: As a wellness coaching client, you and I will work through what wellbeing goals are important to you. This might be in the area of health, weight, fitness, stress, time management, quality of rest/sleep/downtime. You will learn how to connect your wellbeing goals to personal values, set 12 month goals, 12 week goals and week-to-week goals. You will learn the art of observing, rather than judging, yourself. 1:1 sessions work most successfully over a 12 week period, but depend on the individual. These sessions can be done face-to-face or online, or a combination of both.
  • Group Workshops: In small groups of 6-8 people, participants will use various tools to uncover their unique wellbeing goals and connect them to their own personal values and strengths. Participants work through long and short term goal setting, dealing with set backs and readjusting accordingly. Group workshops offer a very tactile and visual approach to wellness coaching. Organisations (often such as Pilates, Yoga or gym studios or mums groups) can book and offer Group Workshops to their members, or keep an eye on my website and facebook page for upcoming workshops in Ballarat and surrounding areas.
  • Online courses: In 2017 I will be offering an online course. Subscribe to the newsletter via my website to keep updated.

Areas of specialty:

  • Mothers of young children: Do you struggle to maintain your health and wellbeing the way you would like to while you raise a family? Do you find it a challenge to eat well, exercise regularly and recharge, amidst the demands of being a parent? Are you lacking confidence because of your inability to look after yourself the same way that you did before children?  I specialise working with mothers of young children – helping them to assess their wellbeing goals, set goals that are achievable in their busy lifestyles and adjust their thinking to cope with the fluid environment that often comes with parenting. 
  • Injuries and major setbacks: Have you experienced a physical injury or major setback that has impacted your health and fitness? I am passionate about working with people in these circumstances to help them identify and work on what they can do, rather than what they can’t do.
