Congratulations to WCA Graduates awarded the top at the 2025 HCANZA Awards of Excellence

Early September saw our industry come together for the 2025 Annual HCANZA conference in Brisbane which included the annual HCANZA Awards of Excellence.

The awards evening as expected was exciting and we are so happy to congratulate all finalists and winners. In particular, two WCA graduates who were recognised with the top honours and awarded:

Jessica Cairn – Health and Wellness Coach of the Year in a Healthcare Setting

Jess completed her studies as a Health and Wellness Coach with WCA back in 2017 leaving her role in corporate travel to pursue her passion for helping others. Together with a Post graduate Diploma in Nutrition, Jess has been working with the team at the award winning clinic ‘Melbourne Functional Medicine’ since September 2021, where her and fellow Health Coaches provide an integral role in the patient centered approach they deliver.

Ruth Kent – Business Achievement Award

Ruth Kent graduated with WCA in 2015 and has gone on to create an incredible health coaching business in the workplace wellbeing space. She works with organisations to support the health and wellbeing of their teams and leaders with a special focus on things like psychological safety, mental health, performance, mindfulness, culture, values, emotional intelligence, stress management, burnout, and work life balance.

Her unique approach to workplace wellbeing has seen her engaged with leading organisations including Medibank, Commonwealth Bank, Colgate Palmolive and ANZ.
